1. Warranty period
- First month: If a manufacturing defect occurs within the first 1 month after ordering, our labor warranty applies. Please note: the product page of your treadmill is leading for the duration of the labor warranty.

2. Optional: the LoopbandSpecialist.nl Maintenance Contract (€ 179.95 incl. VAT per year)
At LoopbandSpecialist.nl, we understand that ensuring the functionality and durability of your treadmill(s) is essential for an optimal training experience. That is why we offer you the opportunity to take out an optional maintenance contract, 1 month after your purchase, with which you can extend your labor warranty.

With our maintenance contract, you have the peace of mind that your treadmill will be repaired in the event of a warranty claim by our experienced technicians, should this be necessary. But that is far from everything: if you have taken out the maintenance contract, we will visit you immediately afterwards for an initial check and maintenance service. We will then perform this maintenance service annually, so that we minimize the chance of problems occurring with your equipment. If a problem does arise, we will still come by to resolve it!
It is important to emphasize that taking out this contract is completely optional. You have the freedom to choose whether or not you want to purchase this extension of your labor warranty.

2.1 Maintenance visit
- After taking out the maintenance contract, a technician will visit as soon as possible to check your treadmill, adjust it correctly, and perform an initial maintenance service. We will then visit every year to perform this maintenance service again. Some examples of the work our technicians master:

Lubrication of the treadmill: Regular lubrication of the treadmill is essential to reduce friction and prevent wear and tear of the belt and motor.

Adjusting the treadmill: The belt is checked for tension and alignment, and adjusted if necessary to prevent drifting or jamming.

Cleaning of the motor compartment: The motor and drive compartment is cleaned to remove dust and dirt that can overheat the motor or affect performance.

- Part replacement :
- Two-year standard coverage : In the first two years after taking out the maintenance contract, costs for new parts are fully reimbursed. If there is a longer manufacturer's warranty, the longer term applies.
- After two years : After the first two years, we only charge the purchase costs of parts if the manufacturer's warranty of the brand is two years or less. In case of a longer manufacturer's warranty, the longer term applies.

3. Customer responsibilities & conditions
Note: the maintenance contract can only be taken out if the equipment does not have a current defect.
3.1 Regular maintenance
- Personal responsibilities : Customers are responsible for regular maintenance of their equipment:
- Checking the lubricant : Ensure that the lubricant is at the correct levels and the device is well-lubricated. Consult the manual for instructions.
- Weekly dusting : Keep the equipment clean to prevent dust buildup.
- Vacuuming under the equipment : Prevent buildups that can lead to problems with internal parts.
3.2 Use of extension cords
- Avoiding extension cords : Customers should not use extension cords to connect the equipment. Use can lead to electrical problems and voids the warranty service.
4. Situations in which the maintenance warranty does not apply
- Incorrect usage environments :
- Use in damp rooms or outdoors can lead to damage not covered by the warranty.
- Dust and hair buildups :
- Insufficient cleaning can lead to damage to the motor and internal parts.
- Poor personal maintenance :
- Failure to maintain lubricants or dust removal can lead to problems that are not covered.
- Water & (body) fluid damage :
- Damage due to spilling liquids or excessive humidity is not covered by the warranty.
- Rust and corrosion :
- Storage in environments with a risk of rust and corrosion voids the warranty on damage.
4.2 Cost of a repair visit
- Out of warranty : For maintenance visits out of warranty, the standard rate (€249 per visit) is charged, excluding the purchase price of parts.
